UNF Master’s Interpreting Pedagogy Program

We wanted to share some information with you about our Master’s degree with a focus on interpreting pedagogy. It’s a fabulous program with amazing faculty and we are preparing for our next cohort.  The application deadline is March 31, 2020.  Currently, the GRE test is being waived for all applicants.

We continue to be excited about our ongoing partnership with the University of North Florida (UNF).  In a unique collaboration between academia and industry, an exciting opportunity for interpreters exists:  the chance to earn a master’s degree that will prepare them to teach interpreting in colleges and universities.

Known for its reputable faculty and innovative Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in ASL/English Interpreting, UNF is a forerunner in distance learning for Interpreter Education.  Sorenson Communications and UNF are combining their expertise, energy, and resources to deliver a leading-edge MS Degree in ASL/English Interpreting, Concentration: Interpreting Pedagogy.

This program is a blended program with courses taken online each semester and summer face-to-face meetings.  Summer travel stipends are available.
