Congratulations to NCDHH’s newest board member

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has selected Frances Beaurivage to serve as a Commissioner for the Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Ms. Beaurivage is a freelance sign language interpreter who works in a variety of settings to provide quality communication access. She has worked with Boys Town, Childhood Center for Deafness as manager of the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) Diagnostic Center for 14 years before recently retiring. Her insight, passion and desire to give back to the deaf community stems from being raised by parents who are Deaf.
