UNMC Mock Doctor/Patient Training

The University of Nebraska Medical Center, UNMC, is once again providing their student physicians the opportunity and exposure to working with a Deaf patient and a sign language interpreter. This is an excellent opportunity to educate fellow professionals that play an essential role in the life and well being of the community.
Interpreters are needed on October 17 and 24.  UNMC will pay $100 for doing both days.  UNMC would prefer that the same person interpret for both days but if you cannot do both days, please consider doing one day (you would get $50 for the one day).
UNMC would like to have four deaf people and four interpreters.
The hours will be
October 17              1:00 to 4:00 PM (this includes a half hour of training)
October 24              1:30 to 4:00 PM
The training will be at the UNMC Sorrill Center in Omaha.
